The Daily Police Blotter for April 15, 2015

ROBBERY 13800 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, 04/11/15, around 11 p.m. A woman was robbed while depositing money at a bank ATM. A man grabbed her from behind, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. The suspect was described as black, with a medium complexion, about 6 feet tall and 190 to 200 pounds, with a stocky build. He wore a black hoodie, black jeans and black mask. The victim did not require medical attention.

ROBBERY, Lockheed Boulevard/Saul Road, 04/10/15, 10:41 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by a man. The suspect pushed the victim, took property and fled. The victim did not require rescue. The suspect was described as black, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, 25 to 28 years of age, wearing a black jacket, black pants and black shoes.

ROBBERY, Anne Ly Lane/Old Rolling Road, 04/10/15, 3:15 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by two men. One of the suspects produced a handgun and demanded property. The suspects took property and cash and fled. There victim did not require rescue. The first suspect was described as black, between 15 to 20 years of age, 5 feet 9 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 140 to 150 pounds, and wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and bandana. The second suspect was described as black, between 15 to 20 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 1 inches tall, about 150 pounds and wearing a black mask and blue jeans.
PURSUIT WITH APPREHENSION, Franconia Road/Old Rolling Road, 04/12/15, 10:53 p.m. An officer on patrol initiated traffic stop on a Ducati motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle disregarded the officer’s signal to stop. The motorcycle was able to elude the pursuing officer. A short time after, officers located the motorcycle and operator near the 5700 block of Overly Drive and arrested him. Mohamed Ben Adel Bourogaa, 22, of Alexandria was charged with felony disregarding police signal to stop and no motorcycle operator’s license.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BURGLARY WITH APPREHENSION, 4000 block of Barker Court, 04/14/15, 1:09 a.m. The victim was asleep in her residence and awoke to noises she heard. The victim reported that a man entered the residence through a window. The subject left when he saw the victim in the residence and fled on foot. The victim did not require rescue. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. Paul K. Anderson, 39, of Fairfax was charged with burglary and drunk in public.
ROBBERY 7900 block of Charles Thompson Lane, 04/15/15, around 1:30 a.m. A woman was walking outside when two men approached her. One of them tried to grab her bag but both men fled when a passing vehicle approached. The suspects were described as black, between 20 and 30 years old, with brown eyes and black hair. One suspect was about 6 feet tall, about 175 pounds, with long dreadlocks and wore red shorts and white T-shirt. The other was about 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 150 pounds, with short, curly black hair and wore blue and yellow shorts. The victim did not require medical attention.
