The Police Daily Blotter for April 17, 2015

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

CHILD ENDANGERMENT 7300 block of Telegraph Road, 04/16/15, around 11:45 a.m. Police charged a woman for leaving her 4-year-old son in the car while she was at work. April Hart, 34, of Alexandria, was taken into custody and charged with cruelty and injuries to children. The boy did not require medical attention and was picked up by a family friend.

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, 7800 block of Richmond Highway, 04/16/15. Neighborhood patrol officers were patrolling the area and recognized a man with outstanding warrants. When they attempted to take him into custody, he resisted and assaulted one officer. Officers gained control of the suspect and arrested him. Endless Taylor, 22, of Alexandria, was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer and obstruction of justice. No one required medical attention.

ROBBERY Richmond Highway/Cooper Road, 04/16/15. Two 17-year-old boys were arrested for robbing a man walking through a parking lot. The suspects approached the victim and demanded money. When the victim declined, they assaulted him, took cash and fled on foot. Officers located the suspects nearby and took them into custody. They were released to their parents; charges pending. The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

7400 block of Lee Highway, property and tools from vehicle.

1700 block of Tysons Boulevard, merchandise from business.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA/POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE 6300 block of Little River Turnpike, 04/16/15. Two men were charged for possessing marijuana. Officers responded, located the group and an investigation resulted in the arrest of two men. Ronny Hernandez-Ramirez, 19, of Annandale, was released on a summons for possession of marijuana. Diego Alvarado Giron, 20, also of Annandale, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

BURGLARY, 5900 block of Leesburg Pike, 04/16/15. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

11400 block of Tanbark Drive, property from residence.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 4600 block of Backlick Road, 04/16/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

8500 block of Beatrice Court, jewelry from residence.

8300 block of Millom Court, wallet from business.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES: 

2400 block of Glengyle Drive, equipment from vehicle.
