The Police Daily Blotter for April 20, 2015

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

PURSUIT, Fairfax County Parkway/Braddock Road, 4/19/15, 11:11 p.m. A police officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and attempted to elude the officer. The officer utilized the Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) bringing the pursuit to an end and the driver was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Nikola Stepanovich, 27, of Springfield, was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of cocaine, speed to elude and no seatbelt.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

PURSUIT, Richmond Highway/Buckman Road, 4/17/15, 4:45 p.m. A police officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and attempted to elude the officer. Officers pursued the suspect to the dead end of Janna Lee Avenue where the suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The suspect was taken into custody and arrested.  Brandon Robinson, 31, of District Heights, Maryland was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, resisting arrest, driving while revoked, disregard police signal to stop and fail to pay full time and attention.

BURGLARY, 3500 block of South George Mason Drive, 4/18/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

PEEPING, 4800 block of Nash Drive, 4/18/15 at approximately 10:45 p.m. A resident looked out the window and saw a man looking into the room. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect was described as white, in his 20’s, wearing a burgundy shirt and had brown hair.
