The Daily Police Blotter for June 3, 2015

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, Brookfield Court/Currey Lane, 06/02/15, 9:15 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by two men. The suspects assaulted the victim, attempted to take property and fled. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was treated for non life-threatening injuries. The suspects were described as black, about 20 to 25 years of age, and between 5 feet 5 and 5 feet 8 inches tall.

BURGLARY, 11700 block of Wolf Run Lane, 06/02/15, 1045 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 11800 block of Henderson Road, 06/02/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

CRUISER CRASH WITH INJURY/DWI, Fairfax County Parkway/Sugarland Valley Drive, 05/31/15, 11:30 p.m. Two officers were on a traffic stop conducting DWI sobriety tests on a driver north bound on the Fairfax County Parkway just prior to Sugarland Valley Drive. At that time, a 2003 Toyota sedan driven by Alfred Jorge Guillen Escobari struck the rear of the first cruiser, causing it to strike the rear of the second cruiser. The momentum from the initial impact caused the second cruiser to move forward striking both officers. Both officers were transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The subject driver of the initial traffic stop, John B. St. Pierre, 44, of Vienna, was charged with DWI. Escobari, 23, of Sterling, was also charged with DWI. Neither arrestee required medical attention.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 5900 block of Atteentee Road, 06/02/15, 1:15 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by a man near the area of Brookfield Park. The suspect assaulted the victim, took cash and fled. The suspect was described as Hispanic, in his 20s, wearing blue jeans, a red short-sleeve shirt and carrying a black backpack.

6800 block of Ericka Avenue, 2003 Chrysler Town and Country van.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 7100 block of Hamor Lane, 06/03/15, 2:12 a.m. The victim awoke to find a man in the basement of the residence. The suspect fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as black, about 6 feet tall, medium build, wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark-colored pants.
