The Daily Police Blotter for June 10, 2015

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 7900 block of Fort Hunt Road, 06/06/15, 1:08 p.m. An employee reported an unknown man walked into the business through an unsecured door. The man left immediately when he saw someone in the business. Nothing was taken.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 7900 block of Fort Hunt Road, 06/06/15, 1:08 p.m. A resident reported an unknown intoxicated man walked into the home through an unsecured door. The homeowner confronted the suspect and the man left immediately. Nothing was taken.

LARCENIES:

6700 block of Georgetown Pike, property from residence.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION, 6400 block of Frenchmen Drive, 06/09/15, 10:28 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by three juvenile males. One of the suspects produced a TASER and deployed it on the victim and kept the victim from leaving. The victim resisted and the suspects fled. The suspects were described as Hispanic juveniles. 

BURGLARY, 3300 block of Rose Lane, 06/09/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

5200 block of Leestone Court, jewelry from residence.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING, 5200 block of Ellington Court, 1:03 a.m. The victim awoke to noise of the garage door of the residence opening. The suspect fled and nothing was taken. 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

None reported.

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION

MALTREAT ANIMAL, 4200 block of Fairfax Corner Avenue, 06/07/15, 1:05 p.m. Animal Control Officers were called to the parking lot for a dog left in a vehicle with its windows closed. The owner, Neil Kolyani, 47, of Fairfax, was charged with inadequate animal care. The Maltese appeared to be unharmed.
