Two kayakers reported finding a body in Huntsman Lake in the Springfield area at around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 14.

Police responded and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Detectives are looking into missing person’s reports and other information in an effort to determine the identity of the deceased.
