MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 8600 block of Arlington Drive, 06/30/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property. 

BURGLARY, 2900 block of Arlington Drive, 06/30/15. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 7700 block of Leesburg Pike, 06/30/15 around 9:05 p.m. The victim had just exited a bus when she approached a man to ask for directions. The man took the victim’s purse by force and fled. The victim did not require medical attention. Officers responded to the area along with assistance from the police helicopter and K9 and checked the area with negative results. The suspect was described as a black male; about 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a red shirt, light pants, and a black beanie on his head.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 7900 block of John Adams Court, 06/29/15, around 11:40 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by a man. The suspect exposed himself and fled. The suspect was described as a white, Middle Eastern male, 30 to 40 years of age, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and dark brown flip flops.

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION

ANIMAL CRUELTY, 6700 block of Bland Street, 06/30/15, 7:20 p.m. A patrol officer observed two dogs inside of a vehicle with the windows slightly open. The owners, Veronica S. Jeon, 32, and Lanorvell Marshall, 48, of Oxon Hill, Maryland, were charged with animal cruelty.
