ATTEMPTED ROBBERY/MALICIOUS WOUNDING, Richmond Highway near North Kings Highway, 07/08/15, around 1:00 a.m. The victim was walking and was approached by two men. The suspects displayed a knife, demanded money and assaulted the victim. The victim resisted and the suspects fled. The victim incurred non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The first suspect was described as a white male, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, dirty blonde hair, wearing a white T-shirt and brown pants. The second suspect was described as a black male, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, shoulder-length dreadlocks, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

ANIMAL MALTREAT, 6600 block of Springfield Mall, 07/07/15, 11:46 a.m. Animal Control Officers responded to the parking lot of a shopping center for a dog left in a vehicle with its windows closed. The owner, Brandon L. Proskey, 31, of Baltimore, Maryland, was charged with inadequate care of animal. The dog appeared to be unharmed.
