AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, 6600 block of Richmond Highway, 08/06/15 at about 9:35 p.m. The victim was in the parking lot of the TGI Fridays and was approached by three men. The suspects assaulted the victim and fled in an older model SUV. The victim was transported to a local hospital and incurred non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects were described as three black males. One of the suspects had shoulder-length dreadlocks.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, 08/06/15 at about 4:47 p.m. The victim was walking to her vehicle in the parking garage of the Tyson’s Corner Mall and was approached by a man from behind. The suspect grabbed the victim and demanded money, the victim resisted and the suspect fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as Hispanic, light-skinned, in his 20s, clean shaven, and wearing a white shirt, hat, and carrying a black backpack.

PURSUIT WITH APPREHENSION, Melville Lane near Stringfellow Road, 08/06/15 at about 8:33 a.m. An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on Stringfellow Road near Melville Lane. The driver disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and continued to travel on Stringfellow Road. The vehicle stopped on Singletons Way near Federation Drive and the driver was arrested. The driver, Curtis L. Porter Jr., of Falls Church, was charged with felony speed to elude, driving on a revoked license for DWI, and possession of marijuana.
