TRESPASSING/ARREST: 1500 block of Anderson Drive, 1 a.m. Police charged Melvin Johnson, 56, of Lorton, with trespassing after security personnel notified police an unknown man had entered the gated and locked location. K-9 officers were called in to assist with a building search (due to its large size) and the suspect suffered a dog bite. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released on a summons.

GRAND LARCENY/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/POSSESSION OF BURGLARIOUS TOOLS/ARREST: 6600 block of Springfield Mall, 11/12/15. Police arrested and charged Jaquan Hatcher, 19, of Waldorf, MD, for entering a Target store and stealing property.

ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE: 11200 block of Mobile Drive, 11/12/15. Police are investigating an accidental discharge case. A 43-year-old man injured himself while attempting to unload a handgun. He was treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Possible charges pending.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 12000 block of Fair Oaks Shopping Center, 11/12/15. A 26-year-old man reported he was stabbed by three men somewhere in Centreville around 8:25 p.m. The victim fled to the Fair Oaks area and called police. At least one of the suspects is known to him. Police are investigating to determine details and identify suspects.
