Crime Solvers Seeks Suspect in Stolen Auto Case
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: 6500 block of Gretna Green Way. 12/15/15, 8:28 a.m. A resident reported hearing a loud bang toward the rear of the house. Two men were seen running from the back deck. Officers responded and found that someone had thrown a rock through a rear window of the home and attempted to gain entry. Two suspects were located nearby and after a thorough investigation, Cesar Giofinno, 20 and Rashied Hardy, 20, both of Alexandria, were arrested and charged with attempted burglary.

ARMED ROBBERY: 2200 block of Astoria Circle. 12/15/15, 7:44 p.m. A 51-year-old cab driver picked up three men at Fair Oaks Mall and drove them to Astoria Circle. At that location, one of the men produced a knife, threatened the victim and demanded money. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured. A second suspect took the victim’s cell phone. All three suspects fled on foot. All three were described as being in their 20’s; two white males, one black male. One white male was wearing a green camouflage, hooded sweatshirt. The second white male had dark hair and was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt. The black male was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 1000 block of Seneca Rd. 12/15/15, 11:22 a.m. Complainant reported that someone entered the business and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
