BLOG POST: Suspicious Person Reported in McLean
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 9300 block of Lee Highway, 03/09/16, 12:08 a.m. The victim was walking and was approached by a man. The suspect assaulted the victim and attempted to take property then fled. Suspect was described as a Middle-Eastern male, wearing dark tan shorts, black/white striped polo and flip-flop style sandals. The victim was not physically injured.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BURGLARY: 6000 block of Old Landing Way, 03/09/16. A resident reported that someone entered the residence and took property.
TRAFFIC CRASH: Ox Road at Mariah Jefferson Court. 03/09/16, 7:25 a.m. A Greyhound bus with 36 passengers failed to stop and rear ended another vehicle which had been recently stopped for a red light. Five passengers from the bus were transported to local hospitals. All injuries were non-life threatening.
