GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be sobriety checkpoint this Friday, April 29 from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. in the Sully Police District. Drive sober and stay safe.

We will be honoring Private First Class Tyler Lamper as Officer of the Month for April and our guest speaker will be Sarai Heath, the Victim Services Coordinator for Fair Oaks.

Join us tonight at the Reston District Police Station’s Community Engagement Meeting at 7:00 p.m. at 1801 Cameron Glen Dr. Reston, VA 20190. Our Tactical Team will be present to discuss what their unit does for the Fairfax County Police.

SUSPICIOUS EVENT, 7200 block of Farr Street, 04/25/16, 5:19 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an 8-year-old child who was approached by a man driving a red car and the man asked him to get inside the car. The child ran to his house and the man drove away. The suspect was described as a white male, younger than 40, with brown hair and clean-shaven.
