GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Motor Carrier Safety Officers conducted an inspection today near the intersection of Leesburg Pike and Gosnell Rd. Fourteen trucks were inspected. Forty-two violations were noted. Three trucks were taken out of service. Eight summons were issued.
There will be a sobriety checkpoint this Friday, April 29 from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. in the Sully Police District. Drive sober and stay safe.
It’s Operation Drug Take-back time! This Saturday, bring all of your old prescription medications to any Fairfax County Police Station from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a safe, convenient, responsible way of disposing of old medication. To learn more about this important initiative, please click here.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
INDECENT EXPOSURE: 7900 Block of Heritage Drive, 04/26/16, 3:00 p.m. An officer was on routine foot patrol, when he observed a man standing near a tree with no clothes on. The man had no apparent reason to be undressed. James Burgess, 55 of Haymarket, was charged with indecent exposure and released on a summons.
