UPDATE: Police Identify Woman Found in Centreville-Area Pond
LARCENIES:
6100 block of Redwood Square Center, clothing from business
BURGLARY WITH APPREHENSION: 3800 block of Miramonte Place. 05/18/16, 1:50 p.m. Officers responded to the burglary of an occupied dwelling in progress. The arrested, 18-year-old Elvis Coto was taken into custody by responding officers as he was leaving the residence and was subsequently charged with burglary (no arrest photo available at this time).
BURGLARY/ASSAULT: 8200 block of Richmond Highway. 5/18/16 at 12:53 a.m. Victim reports that three suspects forced their way into his residence and assaulted him, subsequently taking property from the victim and fleeing on foot. The suspects were described as a black male, early twenties having Mohawk style hair, a red shirt and black pants. A black male, early to mid-twenties, average height, large build and black bandana. The third suspect was described as a black female, about 24 years-old, short stature and having a lighter complexion, dreadlock hairstyle and wearing black jacket and mask.

ASSAULT AND VEHICLE TRESPASS: 6700 block of Bland Street. 5/18/16 at about 8:59 p.m. Victim reported that she was sitting in the driver’s seat of her vehicle when a male in his 20’s entered her vehicle and sat in the passenger seat. After attempting to grab the victim’s arm, the suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Suspect was described as mid-twenties, having a dark complexion, average height, slim build, and wearing a gray hooded shirt.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 9200 block of Old Beech Court. 5/18/16 at 9:50 p.m. Officers on scene of a commercial robbery (see below) were approached by a victim who reported that an unknown male had forced his way into his home, screamed, and subsequently fled the scene.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 7700 block of Gunston Plaza at Rite Aid. 5/18/2016 at about 9:44 p.m. Suspect entered the store and began to pay for items at the register. As the victim opened the cash register, suspect displayed a knife, removed cash from the register and fled out of the store. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, average height, in his mid-twenties and wearing a dark gray, hooded shirt, light gray sweatpants, and purple Chuck Taylor brand sneakers.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
Woman Charged in Burke Weapons Discharge
ROBBERY: 4500 block of Commons Drive. 5/18/16 at 12:10 a.m. Victim was walking at this location and was approached by the suspect and asked about money. The victim was then assaulted and property was taken from his person. The suspect was described as a black male, early twenties, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and around 170lbs, dreadlock hair style and wearing a red shirt and jeans.
