Join Mason District Station on Tuesday, September 6, at 7 p.m. for their community engagement meeting. The meeting will consist of interactive training that displays all of the police department’s uses of technology and social media that keeps you informed. A device is not required to attend, as guests will be able to follow the presentation on a large screen.
West Springfield District Station is hosting their monthly community engagement meeting this Tuesday, September 6, at 7:30 p.m. Lt. Hanson will be discussing the police department’s civil disturbance unit, the different protocols, and how it operates.

UPDATE: Third Suspect Arrested in Huntington Park Homicide from August 5, 2015
STRONG-ARM ROBBERY: Richmond Hwy/Arlington Blvd., 09/01/16, 1:36 p.m. A man was sitting at a bus-stop when another man approached him, allegedly displayed a knife, and took the victim’s backpack. The victim did not require medical attention and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was described as black, about 5 feet 10 inches, approximately 140-160 pounds, with dreadlocks and a goatee.
