Reston Police District – Detectives of the Crash Reconstruction Unit (CRU) will be in the area of North Shore Drive and Village Road on Sunday, September 4, around 5 p.m. They will be seeking more information on the fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on Sunday, August 28, around 5:15 p.m. It is believed a yellow Ford Escape may have struck the pedestrian. The vehicle and its driver failed to stop. The vehicle may have front end damage on the driver’s side.
