GRAND LARCENY/BRANDISHING A WEAPON: 6300 block of Richmond Highway (Walmart), 1/5/17, around 1:40 a.m. An employee saw three men walking in the store and acting suspicious. The suspects took property from the store and went outside when the employee confronted them. One suspect displayed a handgun. The victim notified police and the suspects drove off in a van. The suspects were described as black, around 25 to 30 years old, and wearing jump-suit style clothing. The victim did not require medical attention.

ARMED ROBBERY: 7000 block of Rhoden Court, 1/4/17, around 1:40 p.m. A 46-year-old man was walking to his home when two men approached him, displayed a handgun and demanded his wallet. The suspects ran off with an undisclosed amount of money. The first suspect was black, approximately 18 to 21 years old, around 5 feet 7 inches tall, and with a thin build. The second suspect was Hispanic, approximately 18 to 21 years old, and heavy set. The victim did not require medical attention.
