Dance Instructor Arrested for Multiple Sex Offenses
LARCENIES:
13900 block of Malcolm Jameson Way, cash from vehicle
4900 block of Stonecroft Boulevard, tools from residence
ROBBERY: 7900 block of Richmond Highway, 02/16/17, 8:45 p.m. The victim, an 18-year-old woman, was walking in the parking lot when a man approached her. The suspect displayed a knife, took property and fled. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was described as black, about 20 years old, with a medium build, and approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored winter cap.
ATTEMPTED CARJACKING: 5500 block of Malone Ridge Street, 02/16/17, 5:33 p.m. The victim was sitting in her vehicle in a parking lot. Two men approached her car. One man opened the driver door and attempted to pull her from her car. The victim resisted and after a brief struggle, both suspects fled. Officers located and arrested them. Mohammed Bin-Abdullah, 25, of Alexandria, was charged with attempted carjacking and obstruction of justice. Mohammad Ali Alyousif, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with drunk in public.

SEX OFFENSE: 2900 block of Furman Lane, 02/16/17, 1:47 p.m. The victim was walking through a parking lot when a man drove up to her and began masturbating. The suspect then drove away in a gray sedan. The suspect was described as black, in his 30s. The investigation is ongoing.

Dance Instructor Arrested for Multiple Sex Offenses
LARCENY WITH APPREHENSION: 6200 block of Park Road, 02/16/17 3:12 a.m. Officers observed a man moving inside of a parked car. They approached him and he fled from the car. He was taken into custody shortly thereafter. Shawn Rolfs, 48, of Richmond, was taken to the Adult Detention Center and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, larceny, three counts of possession of stolen property, vehicle trespassing, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest, and possession of a schedule I/II narcotic.

LARCENIES:
11200 block of Roger Bacon Drive, glasses from business
TRAFFIC PURSUIT/WARRANT SERVICE: Loisdale Rd/I-95, 02/16/17, 9:57 p.m. An alert patrol officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a driver with an outstanding warrant. The suspect fled onto I-95 but crashed. The suspect was taken into custody. Festus Musa, 20, of Woodbridge, was charged with felony speed to elude, driving on a suspended license and possession of marijuana. The outstanding warrants were also served.

BURGLARY: 5900 block of Highdale Circle, 02/16/17, 1:42 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
