CRUISER CRASH/PEDESTRIAN STRUCK: Chantilly Road/Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, 02/22/17, around 2:45 a.m. An officer was traveling east on Route 50 when he believed his cruiser struck an object. The officer immediately stopped the cruiser and found a sandal on the ground. An extensive search of the area resulted in a man found sleeping in a nearby yard. He was wearing a sandal that matched the one found in the roadway and he appeared to be intoxicated. The 27-year-old man was taken to a local hospital with a minor injury and released. Speed is not a factor.

ARMED ROBBERY: 7200 block of Fairchild Drive, 2/21/17, around 6:50 p.m. A pizza delivery employee was leaving an apartment, when two men approached him, displayed a handgun and knocked him to the ground. The suspects demanded cash and fled the scene. One suspect was described as black, the other Hispanic. Both were around 20 years old, wearing hooded sweatshirts. The victim did not require medical attention.

INDECENT EXPOSURE/TRESPASS/ARREST: 9000 block of Lorton Station Boulevard (Metropolitan Lorton Station), 2/21/17, around 2:45 p.m. Officers responded for a report of a man trespassing on the property and touching himself inappropriately. Officers identified the suspect and obtained warrants. He was located nearby a short time later. Daquan Lane, 21, of no fixed address, was arrested, taken to the Adult Detention Center and charged with trespassing, masturbating in public and indecent exposure.
