COMMERCIAL ARMED ROBBERY: 8700 block of Richmond Highway (Family Dollar), 2/24/17, around 11:30 a.m. An employee was ringing up a man at the cash register when the man displayed a handgun, demanded cash and took an undisclosed amount from the register. The suspect fled on foot toward the rear of the store. He was described as black and was wearing a green shirt and black pants. The victim did not require medical attention.
ARMED ROBBERY: 2600 block of Arlington Drive, 2/24/17, around 8 p.m. A 40-year-old man was walking in a parking lot toward his home when two men approached him from behind. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspects ran off with the wallet toward the apartment complex. One suspect was described as Hispanic, around 18 to 20 years old, about 150 pounds, wearing a gray jacket with red stripes on the sleeves. The other one was black, around 18 to 20 years old, about 170 pounds, wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and had his face covered with a black bandana. The victim did not require medical attention.
ARMED ROBBERY: 7800 block of Parrot Place, 2/25/17, around 4:30 a.m. A 55-year-old man was getting into his truck when a man approached him, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim did not relinquish any cash and the suspect ran off. He was described as black with a thin build. The victim did not require medical attention.
