BURGLARY WITH APPREHENSION: 6000 block of Archstone Court. 3/15/17, 9:01p.m.
A 29-year-old woman was moving into her new apartment and had to leave for a brief time. When she came back, she saw a man climbing over her second floor balcony. The man jumped off the balcony and injured his leg when he landed on the ground. He crawled away, leaving tracks in the snow. Officers were following his tracks, when a medical call came out close by, for a man who had fallen on the ice and broken his leg. Officers responded to that location and identified that man as the suspect who leapt from the victim’s apartment. He was wearing clothing that matched the description; all black with a hood and carrying a backpack. The suspect, 21-year-old, Leoul Yosef, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a broken leg. When he is released, he will be taken to the Adult Detention Center where he will be served with an arrest warrant, charging him with burglary.
