INDECENT EXPOSURE: Pole Road/Shadwell Drive. 7/7/17, around 7:15 p.m. A man was seen exposing and touching himself inappropriately. He was described as black, around 50 years old, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 250 pounds.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/UNLAWFUL ENTRY/TRESPASSING/ARREST: 3400 block of Lockheed Boulevard (Hybla Valley Elementary School). 7/8/17 around 7:15 p.m. Officers responded for a possible burglary after a group of teenagers was found on school property. Two ran from school security, but were found nearby. Petitions are pending for destruction of property, unlawful entry and trespassing.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY/ASSAULT: 7900 block of Richmond Highway. 7/9/17, 2:15 p.m. A 41-year-old man was walking alone when he was grabbed from behind and knocked to the ground. The two men struggled and the suspect fled. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The victim believes the suspect was trying to steal his money, but nothing was taken. The suspect was described as black. He was wearing a black bandana and head phones. He was armed with a pocket knife.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
GRAFFITI: 9300 block of Braymore Circle, 7/8/17 around 1:35 a.m. Officers responded to a report of graffiti. Anti-law enforcement phrases were spray-painted on a building. The suspect was described as white, between 16 and 25 years old and between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a light-colored hoodie and basketball short with dark-colored shoes. Similar graffiti was reported nearby in South Run Park, 7750 Reservation Drive. Detectives are investigating to determine whether the incidents are related.
