PURSUIT WITH APPREHENSION: Just after 2:00 this morning an officer from the D.U.I. enforcement unit attempted to make a traffic stop on Interstate-66 near Nutley Street. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit ended, when the driver, 28 year-old, Timothy Timmons stopped his vehicle. An investigation determined that Timmons was under the influence. He was taken into custody and to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, and eluding.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BURGLARY: Around 4:30 yesterday afternoon a man walked into a garage in the 10100 block of Dundalk Street. A neighbor watched as the suspect removed items then left in a blue SUV. The suspect is described as male, between 16 and 21 years old, 5 foot 8 inches to 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighing between 155 and 165 pounds.
