UPDATE: Critical Missing 17-Year-Old Found Safe

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 2801 Beacon Hill Road (Hybla Valley Nursery), between 4:30 p.m. on 8/15 and 8:15 a.m. yesterday. The business was broken into and an undisclosed amount of money was taken.

BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING: 5200 block of Cedar Road, 8/16/17 around 10:15 p.m. Residents noticed a motion light had been activated and when they went to investigate, they found a person standing in their television room. The residents called 9-1-1 and the suspect left. The suspect was described as a man around 5’8” with a medium build.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 5900 block of Norham Drive, between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. yesterday. A housekeeper arrived at a residence and heard noises coming from inside when no one should have been home. No one was found inside, but an investigation determined people had been.

BURGLARY: 5900 block of Founders Hill Drive, between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. yesterday. A home was broken into. There was minor damage and items throughout the house had been disturbed.
