SEXUAL BATTERY/ABDUCTION/ARREST: 6600 block of Beddoo Street, 08/20/17 around 10 p.m. A woman was followed and sexually assaulted by a stranger after getting off a bus. She was able to push him off and run away. Yesterday evening, the suspect was spotted in the 3100 block of Sherwood Hall Lane and was positively identified as the person responsible for Sunday night’s attack. Daquan Lane, a 22-year-old from Lorton, was arrested and charged with abduction, sexual battery, and indecent exposure. He is being held without bond at the Adult Detention Center.

ROBBERY: 5600 block of Rapid Run Court, 8/21/17 around 9:30 p.m. The victim was walking his dog when he was approached from behind and thrown to the ground by the suspects. The suspects held the victim down and took his wallet, then ran away. The suspects were described as a male and female between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall.
