Checkpoints Are Among Us

Over the next two days officers from our West Springfield and Fair Oaks Districts will be conducting sobriety checkpoints. The first checkpoint will be hosted in West Springfield tonight. A second checkpoint will be conducted in the Fair Oaks District tomorrow, in the Fairfax area. Both checkpoints will be from 11:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. During the Labor Day weekend, statistically, traffic crashes and impaired driving increases, so please remember to designate a driver.
