Fairfax County Police Department Investigating Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office Inmate Death

Detectives are investigating the death of a 46-year-old inmate at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. The man was having a medical emergency and was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Our department investigates all of Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office’s in-custody deaths.
