ROBBERY: 6600 block of Richmond Highway, 9/2/17 around 2:00 a.m. The victim was getting in his car when he was shoved and punched from behind by two suspects. One of the suspects then pulled a knife and threatened the victim, while a third suspect took money from the victim. All three suspects then ran away. The first suspect was described as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. The second suspect was also a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a red jacket, black pants, and white shoes. The third suspect was said to be a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, khaki shorts, and black shoes.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 8629 Richmond Highway, 9/3/17 between 2:45 and 2:50 a.m. The suspect entered the 7-Eleven, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the victims. The victims gave the suspect money and the suspect ran away from the store. A description of the suspect was given as a black man, about 6 feet tall, wearing a tan coat and pants, a hood, and had his face covered.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 3100 block of Lockheed Boulevard, 9/3/17 around 4:10 p.m. The victim was walking home when the suspect asked him for money. The victim refused and the suspect pulled a knife and demanded money. The victim ran and called police. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Mount Vernon Station where warrants were issued for attempted robbery. Arrested was 27-year-old, Isaias Castro, of the Alexandria area.

ARMED ROBBERY: 3100 block of South Manchester Street, 9/3/17 between 11:00 and 11:30 p.m. The victim was walking home when the three suspects walked toward him. Two suspects pulled out guns and demanded the victim’s property. Taken was a cell phone and cash. The suspects then ran away. The lookout for the suspects was as follows; a black or Middle Eastern male, with a gray jacket and boots. The other two suspects were described as Hispanic men, one was wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans. All three suspects were said to be between 18 and 19 years old, and between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall.
BURGLARY: 3100 block of South Manchester Street, 9/3/17, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The victims had left for the day and when they came home, they found their apartment had been broken into and money had been taken.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 3499 South Jefferson Street, 9/5/17 around 3:00 a.m. Two people broke into the bank for an unknown reason. No property was found to be taken.
