Two Dead After Crash in Great Falls

Reston Police District – Two adults, one male and one female, died in a crash in Great Falls last night after their car ran off the road and hit a tree. Officers responded to the 10500 block of Beach Mill Road near Spring Vale around 7 p.m. for the report of a single-vehicle crash. Once on scene they located a white 2018 Infiniti Q50.

Security Guard Shoots Armed Man Outside Community Center

Mount Vernon Police District — An investigation is underway after a uniformed security guard shot a man with a knife outside the Gum Springs Community Center. It happened around 1:15 this afternoon in the 8100 block of Fordson Road.
