ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

A sobriety checkpoint will be conducted in the Mount Vernon District on October 7, 2017 at Route and Mt. Eagle Drive.

 

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

National Coffee with a Cop Day, October 4, 2017. 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Mt. Vernon Station will be at three different locations for the public to stop by talk with them.

The locations are:

Starbucks  7511 Richmond Hwy.

Starbucks – 6754 Richmond Hwy. (Beacon Mall)

Dunkin Donuts – 1500 Belle View Blvd.

Fair Oaks Station, will be at the Dunkin Donuts, in the Greenbriar Shopping Center. The address is 13061 Lee-Jackson Memorial Hwy.

National Coffee with a Cop day is a day dedicated to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public. The day began as part of National Community Policing Week.
