ROBBERY: 12995 Fair Lakes Shopping Center, 10/6/17, around 7:30 p.m. Loss Prevention staff recognized a man in the store from past thefts. He was seen concealing clothes and sunglasses in his jeans, then leaving the store. A store employee attempted to stop the man. The suspect pulled a knife out of his pocket and pointed it at the employee. He got in a black Ford Expedition and drove off. He was described as black, in his late 30’s, wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

Mt. Vernon District conducted a sobriety checkpoint on October 7 at Route 1 and Mount Eagle Drive. 833 vehicles were screened. 1 DWI and 1 criminal arrest.
Mclean District Station will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on October 13.
