ROBBERY: Arlington Drive/Windbreak Drive, 11/28/17 around 5:35 p.m. A boy was chased by three teenagers. They caught up to him, pushed him, and stole his back pack. He was not injured. His bag was found by a K-9 unit searching the area, but the victim’s wallet was still missing. Investigation is ongoing.

ARMED ROBBERY/ARREST: 7300 block of Dartford Drive, 11/28/17 around 11:19 p.m. A man exiting his car was approached by a teenager who displayed a weapon and demanded his wallet. The victim complied and the suspect ran away. The victim provided a description of the suspect, and officers on board our police helicopter, Fairfax 1, spotted him nearby. They guided officers on the ground to the location and the suspect was arrested without incident. The boy was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with robbery and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: Appalachian Circle and Summit Square Drive, 11/28/17 around 10:20 p.m. A man was walking home when he was approached from behind and assaulted with a knife. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One suspect was described as a white male around 5’8” and 220 pounds. The other suspect was described as a white male around 5’10” and 180 pounds. The investigation is ongoing.
