BURGLARY: 3400 block of Audubon Avenue, 11/30/17 around 2:45 a.m. Someone entered the residence and stole electronics and cash.
ROBBERY: Buckman Road/Main Street, 12/1/17 around 4:45 p.m. A teenager was walking home when someone approached her from behind, hit her, and stole her cell phone. She had minor injuries. The suspect was described as a black man between 18 and 20 years old, around 5’8” with short hair.
ARMED ROBBERY: 5800 block of Edgehill Drive, 12/2/17 around 12:50 a.m. A man was delivering a pizza when two men approached him, displayed a weapon and demanded money. They took an undisclosed amount of cash and the pizza. The victim was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY: Seven Woods Drive/Sausalito Place, 12/2/17 around 5:00 a.m. The victim was walking and was struck in the head from behind with an unknown object. He awoke and personal items were taken from him. The victim had minor injuries and the case is ongoing.
BRANDISHING/POSSESSION OF A STOLEN FIREARM/ARREST: 3400 block of Anker Street, 12/2/17 around 12:30 p.m. Officers were called for a report of a man with a gun. An investigation determined the suspect offered to sell someone a gun and then threatened them when they said they were not interested in the purchase. The gun was found to be stolen. Leandro Portillo Garcia, 28, of Alexandria, was charged with brandishing a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/DESTRUCTION: 8228 Richmond Highway (Mega Mart Grocery Store), 12/2/17 around 4:15 a.m. Someone entered the business and attempted to steal merchandise but were unsuccessful. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY: 6000 block of Bellview Drive, 12/2/17 around 10:36 p.m. A man had just delivered a pizza when he was approached by two men who displayed a weapon and demanded property. The victim retreated into a building and the suspects ran away. They did not take anything and the victim was not injured.

ARMED ROBBERY: 7100 block of Larrlyn Drive, 12/3/17 around 12:15 a.m. A man was delivering a pizza when he was approached by someone who identified himself as the customer. While speaking with him, a second man approached and displayed a weapon. The suspects then fled with cash and the pizza bag containing food. The victim was not injured. Detectives are investigating.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ASSAULT ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/ATTEMPT TO DISARM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/ARREST: 4400 block of Briarwood Court North, 12/2/17 around 1:13 a.m. Officers responded to the area for a noise complaint and encountered a man outside who was yelling and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. After refusing to go inside his home officers attempted to arrest him for being drunk in public. While being taken into custody, he assaulted an officer and reached for the officer’s gun on his duty belt. Antoine Martin, 39, of Annandale, was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, attempt to disarm a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and drunk in public.
