STOLEN VEHICLE/TRAFFIC PURSUIT/ARREST: Fashion Boluveard and Leesburg Pike, 12/12/17 around 10:45 p.m. An officer observed a vehicle run a red light and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle did not stop and a pursuit was started. Information about the pursuit was given to Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office as the vehicle crossed into Loudoun County. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle and take the driver into custody. Abdullah Anwar, 23, of Herndon, was arrested by Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with felony speed to elude, driving with a revoked license, and disregarding a red light. It was later learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen.
