MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 3089 Nutley Street (Micro Center), 12/26/17 between 12:10 a.m. and 12:25 a.m. Someone broke into the building and stole property. The suspect is described as a light skinned black man between the ages of 18 and 35, wearing dark clothing.

GRAND LARCENY: 1961 Chain Bridge Road (PINK), 12/26/17 around 6:15 p.m. Officers responded to the PINK store for three juveniles hiding merchandise. Officers placed the three juveniles under arrest. The stolen merchandise was valued at over $2,000. Petitions are pending for the three juveniles.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: 7500 block of Oldham Way, between 10:30 p.m. on 12/21/17 and 7:00 p.m. on 12/26/17. Someone broke into the residence and stole property.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 6850 Versar Center, between 3:00 p.m. on 12/22/17 and 7:00 a.m. on 12/26/17. Someone entered two businesses and stole cash and property. The suspect is described as a white man, between 300 and 350 pounds, wearing a black face mask and hat, and a light grey jacket with dark clothing.

GRAND LARCENY/DESTRUCTION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY: 6245 Brandon Avenue (Towne Place Suites), 12/26/17 around 9:20 p.m. The victim parked his truck and entered the hotel. As the victim was leaving the hotel, he saw a man breaking into his truck and called police. The suspect immediately left on a bicycle, leaving a shoe behind in the truck.  Responding officers saw a man wearing one shoe on a bicycle and stopped him. Officers confirmed the shoe left behind matched the one the man on the bicycle was wearing. Samuel Bucey, 33, of Washington D.C. was placed under arrest for destruction of property, grand larceny and possession of a firearm by a non-violent felon.
