FCPD WEEKEND RECAP FOR Tuesday, FEBRUARY 20

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

PURSUIT/USE OF FORCE: 5400 block of Goolsby Way, 2/18/18 at 12:00 a.m. An Officer saw a traffic violation and attempted to stop the car for the violation.  The driver sped off and a pursuit was initiated. The car then pulled into a driveway after about two miles. Officers took Regine Dumar, 57, of Fairfax, into custody.  Ms. Dumar was then charged with driving on a suspended license and disregarding police signal to stop. There is no photo available.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 8800 block of Lea Lane, between 2/17/18 at 6:30 p.m. and 2/18/18 at 7:00 a.m. The victim came home and found her home had been entered.  Only small personal items were found to be missing.

BRANDISHING/DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 3100 block of Sherwood Hall Lane, 2/17/18, 8:40 p.m. Officers responded to a call for a man yelling and knocking over trash cans in the area.  When officers arrived, the man, Eric Perez, 19 from Alexandria VA, started to swing two Samurai style swords in the direction of the officers. Officers attempted to talk to Mr. Perez with no effect. Officers then used a Taser to get Mr. Perez to drop the swords. He was then arrested. He was medically treated and charged with brandishing, disorderly conduct, and trespassing.

BURGLARY: 8700 block of Village Green Court, 2/17/18, between 1:35 a.m. and 2:05 a.m. The victim awoke to the sound of her front door opening. The victim then saw a man in dark clothing open the bedroom door. The suspect took personal items from the home as he ran away. The suspect is described as a male about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a skinny build, wearing all dark clothing.

ROBBERY: 7700 Block of Richmond Highway, 2/18/19, at approximately 11:15 p.m. A restaurant employee was making a food delivery.  Once he reached the address, a suspect approached him, displayed a knife, and demanded money.  The suspect was described as a black man, wearing a red shirt. The delivery driver was able to leave the area and was not injured.

ROBBERY: 7900 block of Kidd Street, 2/18/18 at 11:16 p.m. The victim, a delivery driver, was making a delivery when an unknown man approached him.  The man demanded his money and was holding a knife. The driver then threw the food and other items at the man. The victim got away without harm. The man did not get any money.

SHOOTING INTO UNOCCUPIED DWELLING: 8600 Block of Beekman Place, 2/19/18, at 3:40 p.m.  Police were called to the area for the report of sounds of gunshots.  While checking the area, a resident of the nearby apartment complex reported a window had been broken from the apparent gunfire.  No injuries were reported.

ROBBERY: 7900 Block of Kidd Street, 2/19/18, at 9:40 p.m.  A pizza delivery man was making a food delivery.  Once he reached the address, a suspect approached him, displayed a knife, and demanded money.  The suspect was described as wearing a black mask and dark clothing. The delivery driver was able to leave the area and was not injured.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFFORCMENT/WARRANT SERVICE/ARREST: 8500 block of Leesburg Pike, 2/17/18 at 1:45 a.m. Officers responded to check on a man that was asleep near the location. The man was located and identified as Calvin Randolph Johnson, 24 from Washington, DC, and had a warrant for his arrest. As Johnson was being arrested, he spit on two officers and tried to head butt one officer.  He then tried to kick out the window of the police cruiser when he was put in the back seat, causing damage to the car. Once at the jail he pushed another officer in the chest and continued to spit at officers and deputies at the jail. The warrants were then served and Mr. Johnson was charged with destruction of property, three counts of assault on law enforcement officer, false ID to law enforcement, and resisting arrest.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO/ARREST: 4100 block of Hummer Road, 2/17/18 at 10:15 p.m. An officer was doing a check at a parking lot and ran a tag that came back as stolen out of Maryland. The driver of the car was found to be Reggie Recasas, 31 from Fort Washington, MD. Mr. Recasas was the arrested. When the officers searched Mr. Recasas they found illegal narcotics.  He was charged with possession with the intent to distribute schedule I/II drugs, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of stolen property (Auto).

ROBBERY/ARREST: 6100 block of Arlington Boulevard, 2/18/18, 5:25 p.m.  The victim had his money out as Aaron Mulapi, 18, from Arlington, VA, grabbed it and attempted to run. The victim then tried to grab Mr. Mulapi to stop him.  A 16-year-old male then jumped on the victim and hit him. Both Mr. Mulapi and the 16-year-old ran. They were later located by our officers.  Mr. Mulapi was charged for robbery and 16-year-old was released to a parent pending charges.

ROBBERY/MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 6000 Block of Knollwood Drive, 2/19/18, between 10:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Police responded to an apartment complex and met with an 18-year-old man who advised he had been stabbed several times.  The victim provided little information at the time of the report.  The case investigation is ongoing.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: Leesburg Pike and Row Street, 2/18/18 at 10:47 p.m. Officers responded to a call for a man that had been stabbed.  It was found that the man was in a fight at the above location when he was stabbed.  The victim was taken to an area hospital and treated for his wounds.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 12219 Leesburg Pike (Shell gas station), 2/19/18, 10:20 p.m.  A suspect, described as a black man, dressed in all dark clothing, entered the Shell gas station and demanded money.  The suspect displayed a handgun, however, no one was injured.

ROBBERY: 1496 North Point Village Center (Sunoco gas station), 2/19/18, 11:05 p.m.  A suspect, described as a black man, dressed in all dark clothing, entered the Sunoco gas station and demanded money.  The suspect displayed a handgun, however, no one was injured.  An undetermined amount of cash and other property was taken from the business.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: Backlick Road / Forest View Drive, 2/19/18, at 4:20 p.m. A community member was driving in the area and was involved in a minor traffic crash.  While awaiting the police to arrive, the community member became engaged in an altercation with the other driver.  The other driver, identified as Mark Wayne Hutchison, 31, of Springfield, was arrested for robbery and destruction of property.
