Detectives Working with Multiple Agencies to Identify Serial Commercial Robbery Suspects
Three commercial robberies reported in the Northern Virginia area in the last 24 hours are the latest in a string of 19 robberies detectives throughout the region believe are connected. Our Major Crimes Bureau is working with detectives from the Herndon Police Department, Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force to identify suspects in these robberies, all of which have occurred in the last five weeks. Nine of the robberies, including one of the ones from last night, were in Fairfax County. Two commercial robberies have been reported in the Town of Herndon, and eight in Loudoun County, including two last night.

Detectives have released surveillance photos and are asking for anyone with information to contact them. The suspects appear to be males between 5’4” and 6’ tall. In one case, a gas station robbery on Centreville Road on February 10, a suspect was armed with a rifle.
