FCPD WEEKEND RECAP FOR Monday, FEBRUARY 26
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 14300 block of Grape Holly Grove, 2/23/18 around 9:00 p.m. A community member was walking through an apartment complex when an unknown suspect pushed her down and attempted to take her purse. The victim received non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect ran from the area.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 3117 Lockheed Boulevard (CVS), 2/23/18 at 1:10 p.m. Police responded to the report of a robbery at the CVS. An unknown black man, described as tall, with short black hair and a goatee entered the CVS and demanded money. The suspect displayed a handgun. An undisclosed amount of money was taken and there were no injuries reported.
ROBBERY: 3701 Lockheed Boulevard (Huntley Meadows Park), 2/23/18 around 4:15 p.m. A community member was at Huntley Meadows Park and grabbed from behind in an attempted robbery. Jose Ines Cabellero Morales, 21, of no fixed address, was identified and arrested.
DWI / TRAFFIC PURSUIT: Audubon Avenue / Pelican Place, 2/23/18 at 11:55 p.m. An officer observed a traffic infraction and attempted to stop a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and drove a short distance before stopping. The driver, Victor Geovani Contreras Perez, 38, of Alexandria, was charged with DWI – 2nd in ten years, providing false identification, and multiple traffic charges.
ROBBERY: 7500 block of Milway Drive, 2/25/18, at 7:25 p.m. A community member called police to report that a person known to him had forced entry into his home and displayed a weapon. Property was taken from the home. The case appears to be tied to narcotics.

COMMERCIAL ARRMED ROBBERY: 8661 Leesburg Pike (Sheraton Hotel), 2/24/18, around 3:15a.m. Two suspects, described as tall black men wearing black masks, entered the hotel and demanded money. Both were armed with handguns. The suspects ran from the hotel. No injuries were reported.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY / BIAS INCIDENT: 2100 block of Tannin Place, 2/25/18, between 12:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. A community member reported that an unknown person scratched a swastika into the paint of his vehicle.
