Fair Oaks District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau identified and located a suspect in the shooting that occurred February 10 in the area of Westbrook Drive and Devin Green Lane. 25-year-old Baljeet Singh, of Queens, New York, was arrested there yesterday for attempted malicious wounding and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Singh is currently being held and is awaiting extradition to Fairfax County.

The investigation is ongoing. We will provide updates as they become available.

Shots Fired Near Westbrook Drive and Devin Green Lane

Fair Oaks District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau and Crime Scene Section are investigating a call for shots fired in the area of Westbrook Drive and Devin Green Lane. Around 6:30 a.m. officers were called to the location for shots fired into a moving vehicle. A dark SUV was seen leaving the area. The victim was not injured and no other vehicles were hit. We do not believe there is a threat to public safety. The investigation is ongoing.
