MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

HIT-AND-RUN/ARREST: Sherwood Hall Lane / Fordson Road, 3/20/18, 4:41 p.m. A Fairfax County Public Schools bus was rear ended while sitting in traffic. There were students on board, but no one was taken to the hospital for injuries. The driver of the car that hit the bus ran from the scene. Officers were then informed someone matching the driver’s description had arrived at a nearby hospital. The driver was identified as 25-year-old Chantel Gentry, of Alexandria. She was charged with felony hit-and-run, and also had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a drug charge.

FRAUD: 7901 Richmond Highway, 3/20/18, 5:30 p.m. An employee noticed damage to the ATM at this location. A technician verified that a skimming device was used at this location, inserted in the part of the ATM with damage done to it.

ROBBERY: 8100 block of Keeler Street, 3/20/18, 8:30 p.m. The victim reported that he was attempting to sell a pair of shoes to a subject on an app . The suspect arrived, displayed a handgun and fled with the shoes. The suspect was described as a black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, late teens, 120 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black jacket, and grey pants.

FRAUD: 5871 Leesburg Pike (BB&T), 3/20/18, 9:40 p.m. An employee reported finding a skimming device on the ATM at this location.

BURGLARY: 7300 block of Parkwood Court, 3//20/18, 6:30 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

13000 block of Park Crescent Circle, 1998 Honda Civic.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 6500 block of Franconia Road, 3/20/18, 9:25 p.m. An employee reported a black man with a hoodie entered the location through a window. Employees instructed the man to leave. Responding units were able to locate Natnael Sisay, 20 of Centreville. The suspect had twelve keys belonging to the business in his pocket. Their investigation led to the charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a larceny, destruction of property, and petit larceny.
