COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7395 Lee Highway (Great Clips), between 6 p.m. 3/31 and 9 a.m. 4/1/18. The business was broken into and items were reported missing.

CARJACKING/ABDUCTION/STRANGULATION/ARREST: Arlington Boulevard/Gallows Road, 3/30/18 around 7:30 a.m. A woman waiting for a ride to work was approached by a man she did not know. The man grabbed her by the neck and physically assaulted her. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. During this same incident, a second victim was also assaulted by the same man. The suspect attempted to remove the second victim from his car. He had minor injuries. Gregory Sherrod, 53, was arrested and charged with carjacking, abduction, strangulation and assault. No mugshot available at this time.
BURGLARY: 6300 block of Crestwood Drive, between 3/27 and 3/30/18. Sheds were broken into and items were reported missing.
BURGLARY: 7100 block of Wilburdale Drive, between 3/30 and 3/31/18. A home was entered and items were reported missing.
