ROBBERY: 9804 Gunston Road (7-11), 5/6/2018, 4:39 a.m. A man wearing a mask entered a convenience store and displayed a firearm to an employee. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect is described as black and about 6 feet tall.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: 7300 block of Gist Court, 5/4/2018, 09:32 a.m. The victim was in her residence when she observed the suspect prying a window open to gain entry. She yelled she was calling the police, and the suspect fled in his vehicle. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. John Dudash, 49, of Springfield was charged with Attempted Burglary.

ROBBERY: 6100 block of Roxbury Avenue, 5/6/2018, 9:31 p.m. The victim was unloading groceries from her trunk when she approached from behind. The suspect tried to remove her purse from her shoulder. The victim resisted and fell to the ground. The suspect took the purse and fled in a dark colored vehicle that was waiting. The victim did not require rescue. The suspect was described as black, and 5 feet 8 inches tall.

BURGLARY: 9200 block of Tower Side Drive, between 8 a.m. on 5/5/18 and 8 a.m. on 5/6/18. Someone entered the residence and stole cash and property.
INDECENT EXPOSURE: 12700 block of Shoppes Lane, 5/4/18, 11:26 a.m. A woman was sitting on a bench when she saw a man walk past her and exposed himself. The man was working on the planters in the shopping center and watching the victim as he continued to expose himself. Officers arrived on scene and placed Bernardo Flores Lara, 27, of Falls Church, under arrest for indecent exposure.
