ACCIDENT/ASSAULT ON POLICE/OBSTRUCTION/POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: Rt. 28 and Willard Road, 05/14/2018, 06:45 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene of a single vehicle crash and could smell marijuana. The driver pushed the officers and ran off. Due to the severe thunderstorm at the time, the officers did not chase after him. The driver later returned and was taken into custody. K9 responded and located a plastic bag with residue. Derrick Casion, 27, of Nokesville, was charged with Obstruction of Justice, Assault on Law Enforcement, and Possession of Marijuana, and held without bond.
