BURGLARY: 14000 block of Lotus Lane, 06/01/18, 9:21 p.m. Someone entered the residence and took property.

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 2709 Popkins Lane at the Bryant Alternative School, 06/01/18, 7:58 a.m. The school resource officer was called to the principal’s office at the Bryant Alternative School. As the officer arrived, the offender, a 15-year-old boy, pushed the officer. When the officer tried to detain the student, the student kicked the officer several times. The student was taken into custody and turned over to a guardian. Petitions for assault on law enforcement will be sought.
ROBBERY: 7900 block of Janna Lee Ave, 06/01/18, 7:00 p.m. A food delivery driver was in the area to drop off food. The victim was approached by four men, who offered to buy the food for $100. The victim noticed the money was fake with foreign symbols on them. When the victim noticed this, he was pepper sprayed by the men and then beaten. The men took his money, license, and credit cards and ran away. The four men were described as black, between 5`6 and 6`0, with one wearing a black t-shirt.
BURGLARY: 4100 block of Westman Ct, 06/02/18, 11:00 p.m. A resident discovered someone entered her garage and vehicle and took property.

TRESPASSING/RESISTING ARREST: 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, 06/03/18, 2:00 p.m. Three people were arrested for trespassing during the Israel @ 70 event. One arrestee was also charged with resisting arrest.

WARRANT SERVICE/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 5700 block of Seminary Road, 06/02/18, 7:54 p.m. Officers arrested Shayena Johnson, 40, of Falls Church on two outstanding warrants for assault on law enforcement. She resisted and assaulted the officers during the arrest. She was charged again with assault on law enforcement and obstruction of justice.
DRUNK IN PUBLIC/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 7014 Columbia Pike (Cue Club Café), 06/02/18, 1:48 a.m. Officers were called to the Cue Club Café for a disorderly person. Officers called a taxi for the intoxicated man, but he became disorderly and assaulted officers. Matthew Griel, 30, of Springfield, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public, obstruction of justice, and two counts of assaulting law enforcement.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 8922 Little River Turnpike (Bethlehem Lutheran Church), 06/02/18, 4:00 p.m. An employee reported damage to the building.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7885 Heritage Dr. at H-Mart, 06/02/18, 2:40 a.m. An employee reported that someone entered the business and took property.
ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT/TRESPASSING: 5800 block of Royal Ridge Dr, 06/03/18, 7:51 p.m. Officers were called by the resident because an ex-girlfriend was refusing to leave his apartment. The woman still refused when officers arrived and was arrested for trespassing. The woman resisted and assaulted the officers. Suzanna Placke, 28, of Springfield, was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and assaulting a police officer.
ROBBERY: 9200 block of Cardinal Forest Ln, 06/03/18, 5:00 p.m. The victims were headed to their aunt’s house when six males, all about 15 years old, tried to steal their bicycles. The victims refused and the offenders beat the victims and stole their bicycles. Their bicycles were later located in a storm drain.
