ROBBERY: 5500 Mt. Vernon Hwy, 06/22/2018, 4:56pm. The victim was walking along Mt. Vernon Highway when he was approached by two men. The men surrounded the victim and took out a firearm while demanding the victim’s wallet. The suspects took the wallet and got in a vehicle before driving off towards Richmond Hwy. The suspects are described as black men wearing hooded sweatshirts.
Commercial Burglary: 7600 Block Richmond Hwy, 06/23/2018, 02:19am. An alarm company notified us that a man was inside a store stealing cigarettes. Officers arrived on scene and located a person matching the description given by the alarm company. Ronnie Doss, 44, of no fixed address, was arrested for Burglary.

LARCENY/OBSTRUCTION/NARCOTICS: Leesburg Pike at Leesburg Court, 06/25/2018, 1:20am. A cab driver pulled alongside a marked police cruiser and asked the officer for help with a passenger refusing to pay. When the officer approached, 32-year-old Karenn Thomas got out of the cab and ran away. Officers were able to catch Thomas and take her into custody. Thomas, of Arlington, was charged with Larceny, Obstruction of Justice, and Possession of Schedule I or II narcotic.
