WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
Traffic Pursuit: Ox Road at Burke Lake Road, 7/19/18, 10:55 pm. Our officer was running radar on Ox Road when two vehicles sped away, traveling over 100 mph. The officer attempted to stop the two cars, but both drivers raced off. A pursuit was initiated and after 4.5 miles, the driver stopped. David Melara, 18, of Manassas, was arrested for reckless driving and disregarding police command to stop with endangerment to others. We were unable to locate the second vehicle which was described as a dark colored Toyota Scion FR-S with Maryland tags.
Burglary: 4700 block of Parkman Court, 7/19/2018. A resident reported that someone entered the residence, it is unknown what was taken.
Burglary: 9700 block of Glenway Court, 7/19/2018. A resident reported that someone entered the residence and removed property.
