West Springfield District Station – A woman killed by a tree in a storm-related accident has been identified as 63-year-old Beverly Krizanovic of Burke. We responded to the 5900 block of Burnside Landing Drive shortly after 8:30 last night to assist Fairfax County Fire and Rescue after the report of a person trapped under a tree that fell on a home. Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau responded and investigated this incident. The information they collected was provided to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for a determination of the official cause and manner of death.
