FCPD RECAP JULY 30, 2018
ROBBERY: 14000 block of Centreville Sq., 7/28/18, 11:08 a.m. An employee of the business stated that a black man entered the business wearing a hat and sunglasses. The employee asked the man to take off his hat and sunglasses. Once he did, the man walked around the counter, took cash from the register, grabbed the employee, and took her to the back of the business where more money was stolen.
BURGLARY: 14000 block of Beaumeadow Ct., 7/28/18, 7:46 p.m. A resident called saying someone was outside their home, shouting that he was going to hurt their son. The man tried to gain entry by breaking windows and forcing open the front door. The homeowner was hit by the door when the man pushed it open, but he was not injured. As officers arrived at the residence, they saw Chase Koon, 21, of Reston, attempting to enter the home through the front door. He was taken into custody and charged with assault and battery, burglary with intent to assault, destruction of property, possession of marijuana, and disorderly conduct. Immediately after being released on an unsecured bond, Mr. Koon went to the 14000 block of Penrose Pl., called police, and stated that he was going to harm employees at this location. Officers responded and Mr. Koon was arrested again, this time on charges for disorderly conduct. Mr. Koon was then held without bond.

BURGLARY: 7000 block of Gordons Rd., between 7/20/18 and 7/28/18. A resident returned home from vacation and discovered that their glass patio door to their residence was shattered. Several items were stolen.
GRAND LARCENY AND ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 1961 Chain Bridge Rd., 7/27/18, 6:00 p.m. Officers saw four people stealing from a business. As officers stopped the group, Kareemah Samuels, 18, of Washington D.C., tried to run away. Officers caught up to Ms. Samuels and took her into custody. While they were arresting Ms. Samuels, she kicked an officer in the face. Ms. Samuels was arrested and charged with petit larceny and obstruction of justice. An assault on law enforcement charge is pending. Monae Washington, 22, of Washington D.C., and Darnisha Godfrey, 22, of Washington D.C., and a teen girl, 17, of Washington D.C., were also arrested and charged with multiple larcenies.

BURGLARY: 6000 block of Van Winkle Dr., between 7/17/18 and 7/27/18. A resident reported that someone entered his unlocked garage and stole several items over a ten-day period. Nothing was damaged.

BURGLARY: 7300 block of Oldham Leeds Way, 7/26/18 between 6:30 p.m. and 7:05 a.m. the next day. A resident heard his garage door open at around 2:00 a.m., but thought it was his HVAC system after not seeing anything in his driveway. The next morning he discovered someone had used his garage door opener from his unlocked car in his driveway. Several items were taken from inside the garage.
BURGLARY: 8000 block of Samuel Wallis St., 7/28/18 between 2:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. A resident noticed there was a mess in a room he had just painted and cleaned. He also saw footprints into the attic as well. Personal belongings were stolen. Multiple doors were left unlocked to the home.

BURGLARY: 5300 block of Windsor Hills Dr., 7/26/18, 9:45 p.m. and 7/27/18 10:25 a.m. A resident reported that someone entered his home through an unlocked window on the second level. Nothing was damaged, but property was taken.
