BURGLARY: 2084 Chain Bridge Road (Shell Gas Station), 7/31/18, 2:40 a.m. A security company reported an alarm had been triggered at this location. It was determined entry was made by breaking a glass door. Once inside, two unknown subjects stole cigarettes and food. The security camera captured two people with masculine builds wearing black hoodies, black shoes, masks, grey gloves, and one subject had blue underwear.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
STOLEN VEHICLE: 8800 block of Nero Street, 7/31/18, 1:34 a.m. A witness reported two people running from the area after a car alarm had been activated. Officers checked the area and found a truck that appeared to be involved, which sped away. After a short chase, the truck stopped and the occupants ran. With the assistance of K9, patrol located the subjects and determined the truck was stolen. Two teenage boys, 17 and 15, from Maryland, were charged with grand larceny. Two teenage girls, 16 and 15, from Maryland, were charged with possession of stolen property.
